A little about me.

I'm 29, and an out-of-work Graphic Designer (hint. hint. To anyone who has an open position). I was in school at OSU IT for Prosthetics and Orthotics. I was probably one of the top people in the class. I made a handful of pals which I hold to the highest regard.

I have since moved to Dallas to be closer to family and of course I'm poor. Right now, between finalizing things in Shreveport and looking for a job, I have decided to write about my life after marriage.

I have a pretty good support system my sis, cousins, my mom, and a few loyal to the bone friends.

Duck... Duck... Ducati!

Yesterday, after I got back to Dallas, I was getting ready to unload my bike and to my surprise what do I see? Ducks by the Ducati. Mallards to be exact. How awesome. I had taken the 186 mile trip in less than 3.5hrs one of those hours in the hardest rain I have yet to face. It felt suiting to see the ducks in the sun when I got home.

On the Road. Solo

While I was on the Duc today I reminisced on the many trips that I have taken. I remember one trip, Me and Nicolio took a trip to Mexico, well Nuevo Laredo. It was on a Memorial day weekend about 6 years ago. Over 1200 miles, 2 tickets and many wrong turns All in 2.5 days. We packed lightly and hopped into her hyundai. Man were we dumb. Hell, it was probably the best trip ever tho.

I also remember taking a trip to Marietta, Ga to camp with my then girlfriend Jackie. We stopped my Grandmothers house. Being a devout vegetarian, Jackie cringed while she was "force-fed" a piece of crawfish. We took a week off that time. We had so much fun.

Then the big move to Atlanta with my Ex-wife Michelle, then back. I have been on so many trips with so many friends. From best friends in high school to future exes, for the most part I have been with a partner.

But while on the Duc, I came to a realization. Since December, all of my trips have been solo. There is no other way I'd rather be riding on the road. Solo.
